NOW OPEN FOR THE 2026-2027 SCHOOL YEAR!

Graduating seniors from Bridgewater at Shepaug Valley School are invited to submit applications for a $1000 scholarship. Applications are available from the Shepaug Valley guidance department. With the application, students should write an essay of at least 1000 words about a person or place in Bridgewater of historical interest. Excluded from possible subjects are the following: Captain Burnham, the Captain’s house, the Village Store, C.B. Thompson, and any other information found on the Bridgewater Historical Society website.
